Is it normal to have loose stools 4 months after gall bladder surgury?

Yes: Some people have no loose stool, others have it temporarily, and others forever with certain foods. Fatty food cause more loose stool. Nothing to worry about if it doesn't bother u. Otherwise try imodium (loperamide). If it doesn't work, ask ur doctor for cholestyramine.

Sometimes: After gallbladder surgery a person has excess bile that is not absorbed by the small irtestine causing diarrhea. Also fried, fatty, greasy foods can cause diarrhea for some. Watch your diet. If no improvement then see your doctor for an exam & a possible trial of medication cholestyramine.
