Heartburn continues : Sounds like you may have bile gastritis - an uncommon cause of heartburn after gallbladder surgery. Instead of the bile being stored your body is constantly releasing it into the GI tract. Sometimes instead of flowing in the normal direction it flows back towards the stomach and can cause a nasty heartburn. An EGD might be helpful. Are your stools normally this color??
