Rarely: There have been many theories trying to link certain foods with skin blemishes. So far, scientific research has not proven any links with chocolate, acids, fried foods that will cause pimples. Some people remain convinced that certain foods do cause them to 'break out.' acidic foods such as tomatoes, oranges cause some people to question the research because they do have skin reactions.
