Ear pain: A lot of things can cause ear pain, including mono. Interestingly, it is usually not infection of the ear directly, but the swelling and involvement of the throat and tonsils. The ear pain most people suffer with mono is referred pain from the mouth and throat.

Yes: Yes, due to involvement of the surrounding tissues. There are other reasons to have ear pain. If pain troublesome, see ENT doc.

Yes, mono ear pain: The swelling and inflammation in your throat and tonsils will create a pressure on your ears as well.
