Does hemorrhoids cause rash around anus?

Possible, unlikely : Irritation can appear as a rash and be associated with hemorrhoids but it is pretty uncommon. More likely it is either topical irritation from toilet paper or soap products or inadequate hygiene or an infectious cause; i would have it evaluated.
