Not enough info: Fibroids are very common benign tumors. They are found in a woman's uterus and can be discovered during a routine pelvic exam or pelvic ultrasound. If there are no symptoms (exs. Heavy menstrual bleeding, pelvic pain, increased urinary frequency) no treatment is necessary unless it is determined that the fibroid is preventing a fertility patient from getting pregnant or causing her to miscarry.
