Depends: Elimination of nicotine from the body is determined by half-life. Nicotine's half-life is 24-48 hours. In general, 3 to 5 half lives are necessary to eliminate it from your system. That means from 3-6 days. The withdrawal however lats much longer since your system "craves" it . I know it hurts (i went through it a number of years ago) but it is surely worth it. Hang in there.
