Discuss with surgeon: Recovery of urine control after prostate removal depends on many factors. The age of the patient, degree of urinary symptoms before surgery and experience of the surgeon (using the robot) are likely the most significant. A healthy guy operated on by an experienced robotic surgeon has 90% chance of being dry, usually taking 3-12 months. Kegels, physical therapy can be very helpful.
