Exercise: Start with some easy cardiovascular exercise like walking/treadmill, stationary bike, elliptical machine for 10 minutes 3-4 times a week and gradually increase to 30 minutes over the next several weeks. You can also increase the resistance and slowly get your heart rate up to maybe 60-70% of max heart rate. Cardio will help to lose weight.
