Tinnitis yes,but?: I am not sure exactly what thumping includes. Tinnitus has been described many ways and thumping probably has been one of them. Ear wringing or constant sounds whistling are other common terms. If the person never had ear thumping before taking wellbutrin (bupropion) then it certainly is possible. Discuss it further with dr. Their are many other causes many easily treated like ear wax.
