Many: There are a number of organs by your ribs in the back, starting low, just below your ribs, is your kidneys. At your on the left is spleen and stomach, on the right your liver and middle the pancreas. Your lungs take up most of the space above that on both sides. Referred pain can be from anywhere in the abdomen or chest and you would need a history and physical to find what may be causing pain.
