Possibly: Ginger is a tonic used in traditional chinese medicine which helps to sooth the GI tract. Lemon has antiseptic qualities and it reported to help reduce toxin load. I will forward this question to dr. Baker as he is much more knowledgeable then i about these approaches to health.

Probably: As is often the case, formal research hasn't been done to answer this definitively, but it's likely ginger would be beneficial for ulcers, as it reduces inflammation, has anti-microbial properties & may help kill h. Pylori, the bacteria that often causes ulcers. In general it has a soothing effect on the GI tract. However, it may be irritating for some people. Try it; if it doesn't hurt then continue.
