Unlikly but possible: Severe dry mouth or xerostomia can be a side effect of any medication. However the degree would have to be so severe that something like a parotid gland stone has formed which is causing the problem. Additionally your would have many other anticholinergic symptoms and probably more than just the Celexa (citalopram) is involved if at all. In other words it is possible but an ENT specialist may best to check it.
