Perhaps: If tuberculosis gets into the brain, this can clearly be deadly unless immediate intervention is accomplished. Often the spread results from tuberculoma rupturing and causing a tuberculous meningitis, and if pupils dilate, may be terminal. But if diagnosis is mad early, meds to treat may really turn around. The risk is however, very high indeed.
