Throat bitterness: Most frequently this is considered a symptom of reflux. Acid reflux is when stomach contents go the wrong way and get into your throat. It tastes quite...Bitter. Could also be from post-nasal drainage, but usually this is not so sour. Infection from a sinus infection tastes and smells worse than allergy, but it usually isn't quite as bad tasting as reflux.
