What causes one eye to suddenly be bigger than the other?

Lid position: Usually it is related to the position of your eyelids. This can happen with conditions such as thyroid eye disease or trauma or scarring. Consider that the other opposite eyelid may be lower. Your local eye doctor may be able to help figure out what may be causing this.

Get checked: It is more likely that one of the eyelids is drooping making that eye appear smaller than the other. Regardless, you should be checked.
