A member asked:

My toddlers cough has progressed and sounds dry but no fever, is he sick?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Cough No Fever: Even without fever a dry cough that lasts more that a week should be evaluated. It could be due to post nasal drainage from a nasal allergy or narrowing of the breathing tubes similar to asthma. Toddlers are prone to to this problem with allergies or viral infections. See your pediatrician for evaluation.
