Ovulation: In women with regular menstrual cycles, you will ovulate within 24 - 48 hours after a surge in lh hormone levels. You may see other symptoms that confirm ovulation such as change in cervical mucus, some discomfort . If the egg isn't fertilized, you will typically have your menstrual cycle 12 - 14 days after ovulation. In women with irregular cycles it's hard to predict when this occurs.
