Pain pills: If you need to take pain relieving medications while pregnant, you can take acetaminophen. However, do not wait to go to your dentist. You need to take care of active infections asap.

Tooth Pain: Since you are early in your pregnancy the only pain medication you should take is tylenol (acetaminophen). If that doesn, t help you would need to consult with your ob/gyn doctor to get their recommendation.

Check with OB: Definitely check with your ob/gyn. Typically tylenol (acetaminophen) is recommended, but i wouldn't take anything until they give you the okay.

See a dentist !: Just because you're pregnant doesn't mean you can't be seen by a dentist and have that tooth evaluated. Your dentist will consult with your OBGYN to determine the best course of care for you. Letting it go may be more troublesome than taking care of it now.

See dentist: Treating a toothache with meds or antibiotics is just a band aid, pregnant or not, that doesn't get to the source of the problem. Many Dr.'s do't like to medicate during a pregnancy, so getting the affected tooth/gum tissue, etc. treated is the best way to help you.

See a DDS ASAP: Pregnancy is not a reason to defer routine dental care or treatment. Dental local anesthesia and treatment are safe and essential during pregnancy.
