Not a problem: Clear green discharge from the nipple is rarely a sign of a problem nor a sign of pregnancy. Some patients see milky white discharge from their nipples in early pregnancy but full, tender breast are a more common symptom of early pregnancy.

See your doctor: Anytime you have discolored nipple discharge, you will want to be seen by your doctor. You will need to rule out causes, such as infection or possible cancer. Your breast are responsive to hormones, so any changes in your cycle can cause symptoms. If your cycle is not normal, pregnancy is always a possibly. Take a pregnancy test to be sure.
