A member asked:

Throbbing pain in my shoulder. is it from dialysis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Talk to your doctor!: I'll admit to being a little paranoid (good quality in a doctor) - but people with kidney failure are at higher risk for heart disease. And shoulder pain, neck pain, jaw pain, even forearm pain can be signals of heart disease. Please call your doctor about this to be sure. Remember that shortness of breath, tightness in the chest, and indigestion are other symptoms of concern. LGromko MD
