Will my epigastric hernia go away if i lose weight?

No: Hernia is a defect ( hole) in muscle/fascia. Once u have it, it never goes away. With efforts to try to loose wt and lifting etc, it may get bigger. If u loose wt, it may make it easier to fix and with lower recurrence rate. It will not go away by itself. C a surgeon.

No: It may not bother you as much, but will not go away without surgical repair.
