After ruling out: Allergic reaction (people have died from kissing when severe allergies are related) and just considered trauma, decreasing swelling in such a vascularized area will be difficult. Ice may help, 20 min on/off. Hydrocortisone cream may have small effect but use very little in that area. Otherwise, time will be the best treatment. Best of luck!
