Number of things: You may want to be screened for depression as these both are common symptoms of depression. If you do not feel like that is contributing, consider hormone testing, including thyroid. Have your sugars (a1c or fasting glucose) checked as well as progressive diabetes can sometimes rarely lead to weight loss. Discuss with physician any other symptoms you may having to rule out more dangerous issues.
