A member asked:

Will the injection to get numb for the leep be painful? i have an understanding of the procedure but i'm scared of pain.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Doesn't hurt: With a leep the cervix will be numbed with local anesthetic. You may feel some heat but nothing should hurt. The local anesthetic injections may be a little uncomfortable.
