A member asked:

Is an endocrinologist also a nutritionist?

No, however...: An endocrinologist is also a scientific physician, the survivor of an internal medicine residency (one of life's most rigorous experiences -- they're brutal with each other) and then some, and a far better source of information than "nutritionists" on the tv / internet, most of whom are charlatans. The only source i'd trust more is an evidence-based registered dietician.

No: An endocrinologist is a doctor and has special training in the working of the glands of your body. A nutritionist is not md and studies nutrients and what the body needs.

Not Really: Even though every physician has some knowledge of Nutrition and so is Endocrinologist. No Endocrinologists are not Nutritionist.Nutritionists have to go through education and courses in nutrtion and have passed an exam to be certified as a Nutritionist
