Suppositories: At least in pediatrics, hemorrhoids are due to low fiber diets with constipation usually. Miralax (polyethylene glycol) and suppositories are often used. Insertion of suppositories may result in hemorrhoid bleeding as they may be friable. Most GI doctors recommend substances like MiraLAX (polyethylene glycol) to soften stool output.

They can: Suppositories can aggravate your hemorrhoids and cause pain and bleeding, so unless you really need to use them, don't do it.

No problem: The stemitil will not harm your hemorrhoids, nor will the glycerin. Given the fact that you have hemorrhoids however you need to be extra careful with the insertion of the suppository so that you don't accidentally cut the hemorrhoid with a fingernail. Make sure that your fingernails are cut down very short before inserting and always use a glove.
