A member asked:

Is 34 weeks save for delivering twins ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Go longer if possbl: Survival is likely if infants are delivered at 34 wks. However, there is a >50% chance that one or both twins would require oxygen or ventilator support and weeks in the newborn special care unit. The longer you can go before delivery the better. There is no better incubator for a baby than mothers womb. Only when the medical status of mom or babies is at risk would you elect to deliver at 34 wks.
