Lose weight: You can diet. Exercise is out until your surgeon clears you for any activity other than the walking you are allowed to do in the boot. Not following your surgeon's directions can result in disaster. Be smart and be patient

Foot Weight Loss: It is common for people to gain a few pounds after a foot or ankle surgery because it is very hard to get any type of activity. Concentrate on your upper body and abdominal region. Most important is the food intake during that time. That is the one thing that you can control the most.

Can excerise : Your upper body without being weight bearing with weights, sit ups, crunches etc. Watch what goes into your mouth do not seek out comfort foods and before u know it those s inches will be gone. Good luck!
