Maybe: If you have fluid-filled vesicles from the shingles, then you could be infectious. It is possible that you have herpes virus in moist lesions that could potentially give somebody else chicken pox. If all of the shingles lesions are scabbed over, dried, or healed over with intact skin; then you are most likely no longer infectious to other people.

Yes: Remember that shingles is the chicken pox virus. She's either been vaccinated in childhood and is immune or had chicken pox and is already exposed. Not to worry.
