Vision impairment: Many causes of vision impairment ranging from common myopia (nearsightedness) to cataracts to glaucoma to macular degeneration etc. No way to make diagnosis based upon information given. Ask your visually impaired friend/employer. If she doesn't know, she needs to see ophthalmologist.
