Spinal lesion.: If you went to the mayo clinic, you did go to one of thebest places in the world. Therefore, i would refer you back to them. Spine MRI and ct angiography are usually performed in such cases. Again, the radiologists and specialists at the mayo clinic will guide you best.

Lumbar Spine MRI: This finding can be an artifact, benign or cancerous process. First step is dedicated lumbar spine MRI with contrast to confirm true finding and characterize further. Another likely test will be lumbar puncture to test the cerebral spinal fluid for clues what the lesion could be.
