Does not Hurt: If you mean that you had the disease and survived with no complications, you should have lifelong immunity. If so, it does not hurt to get the vaccine which may even help boost matural immunity.

Are U sure: The chickenpox vaccine is helpful in providing initial stiulation of an antibody response that will prevent wild chickenpox. Although not !00% preventive, it has essentially eliminated the case fatality rate int the us in vaccinated kids. (was ~50/yr) many blistering illnesses are mistaken for chickenpox.Vaccination after a mistaken DX would give protection, after real CP it would do no harm.
