Possible causes...: Drenching nights sweats can be caused by a number of things: medications, menopause, infections, autoimmune disorders, and cancer. Are you having any other symptoms? I would see a health care provider so that they could do a careful exam and perform a complete medical history. This will help narrow the possible causes so that additional tests can be performed, if necessary. I hope you feel better.

Hot flashes: Hot flashes are common in middle age women around menopause . Other causes could be fever, so make sure to check your temperature to rule out the latest. If you are having hot flashes therapy to ameliorate the symptoms can be given by your provider.
