Reasons for passing: Sounds like one might have multiple Health issues beginning with Blood Pressure Stability, High or Low? What medications, if any one is taking? Alcohol or Substance use. It could also be issue with Middle ear & Balance, Vertigo and a host of other reasons for passing out at this age. Best to see the PCP and give Detailed History, have a Physical Exam & check the toe + Imaging studies if indicated

Exam first: There has been a lot of great diagnostic skill derived from years of training & practice that your physician can bring to the process of examining a patient. After an exam, the physician can decide if additional studies are necessary prior to treatment.

Peristomal wound: When i see a patient who has difficulties with peristomal wound or pain, i generally try to ascertain cause. Usually, if there is no underlying pathology, the skin is irritated by the adhesive. Using a hydrocolloid dressing beneath the adhesive may reduce the difficulties.

Yes and No: Early in the recovery it is not unusual to have swelling from the knee down into the ankle and foot. With healing proper circulation is reestablished and usually the swelling returns to a more normal state. Ice, elevation, and compression and education may help but if the swelling persist too long more aggressive treatment may be needed.
See, your surgeon.
