Neuropathy: Balance problem can occur from peripheral neuropathy or brain disease. Memory problems usually occur related to hypoglycemia or brain disease. Numbness cam be from peripheral neuropathy from diabetes. You need an evaluation by a neurologist as you have a set of complex problems.

Multiple causesi : I agree but w prior answers but neuropathy usually not change in position initiated and altho can be intermittent this is usually related to compression. What is your breathing like prior=?Hyperventilating? Any cardiac issues.?Is your mind clear within minute or so. Consider hyperventilation syndrome w less likely cardiac disease! or epilepsy. Follow advice of other 2 consultants al.
