Work up: Depends on how elevated your heart rate is. If abnormally high, work up needs to be done to figure out why it is high. If cause is found, it should be treated. If not apparent cause, depending on symptoms and how high it is, treatment may be recommended. Overall, physical fitness, less caffiene and other stimulant intake, and lower stress could help.
