Several reasons: Migraine runs in families due to genetics, and is a problem with sensitivity of brain glutamate. Relatively easy to prevent the headaches, as we have both prescription and otc treatments, and also botox. See a neurologist, maybe headache specialist and get under control. No frank cure, but control can be amazing.
