If it were really promising, likely more would have been done since. Cholesterol made by every animal/human cell, part of cell membrane, enables movement, wrong issue. Ayurvedic Rx: This is the leaves of a particular tree usually ground up in milk. I found a couple of small studies from two decades ago in an indian cardiology journal but there's been no scientific follow-up. Don't spend too much money or use this other than an adjunct to a program of fitness, good diet, and good heart care.
