Yes - it works: If you have a gentle needler you may have no discomfort. There are variety of different treatments available for shoulder pain. A large needle introduced into the joint may cause minor discomfort. However, it isn't likely for smaller dermal needles. The needle diameter is very small which is why it is usually well tolerated. Most of the time my patients don't feel the needle insertions.
