A member asked:

Can it take many weeks to recover from serious unrinary infection?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It could: If you had a serious urinary tract infection such as of the kidneys (pyelonephritis), or developed complications from such an infection, it could take a few weeks to fully recover. If you're still not feeling well after several weeks, follow up with your primary care doctor for a re-evaluation.
