Scalp/tmj connection: There are muscles under your scalp. These are attached to the temporalis muscles(forehead). So if you have muscle imbalance in the muscles that open and close your jaw, the scalp can be tightened as well.

Scalp pain and TMJ: There are many areas of the scalp that are potentially painful in what people call tmj. The actual issue is the muscles on the head that are in chronic spasm with trigger points and fatigue...A part of the TMJ triad. Treat the bite, the muscles and the joint and there us usually relief.
