A member asked:

Is it normal to have two periods towards end of month?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No,but not worrisome: Having "2 periods" really close together may actually be the same period - the uterine lining may not have completely shed during the first bleeding episode. Multiple periods during the same month may also indicate that the women did not ovulate that month and so the normal hormonal sequence that month was not completed thereby causing irregular bleeding.
