UNLIKELY: Liver pain does not refer to low back and fatty liver doesn't really cause pain. Discuss with your doctor about another cause for that pain.

Not directly: In the us, fatty liver is most commonly from being overweight and sedentary. Similarly, back pain is most commonly from being overweight and sedentary. They come together but do not cause each other. If you are neither overweight nor sedentary, see your md to find out what is causing these. Hope you get better soon.
