Depends: Depends on the concentration (strength) of the hydrogen peroxide and if it is made specific for teeth whitening, from a reputable dental product manufacturer. Some "store -bought" teeth whiteners with hydrogen peroxide are acidic which can damage tooth enamel.

Sensitivity: Using hydrogen peroxide in you mouth will have limited effect on the enamel of teeth. It has been used for bleaching and treating gum disease for years. The stronger the peroxide used, the more likely it would cause a chemical burn on gingiva. The teeth would become sensitive, can ache. Enamel damage no.
