Visible Neck Veins : Veins in the neck can be enlarged or distended for many reasons. Some reasons benign and some secondary to more ominous problems. Loss of facial fat and thinning of the skin can make veins appear more prominent. Distal obstruction or heart pump failure can make veins appear enlarged or distended. Singers can have enlarged veins due to being pumped up like muscle builders. See your vein physician.
