What does an abnormal gestational sac look like at 8 weeks?

Depends: It could be small or irregular in shape. It should contain the pregnancy with a heartbeat. So if there was no heartbeat or no pregnancy inside the sac that would also be abnormal. Also the size could be smaller than expected.
