See a Doctor: There could be many things such as achalasia, which is increased tone of the esophageal sphincter. Symptoms include what you've described along with chest pain. This might also be caused by hiatal hernia with is a protrusion of the stomach into the esophagus. Both are very treatable conditions, but it is important to see a physician to identify the cause especially if your food intake is effected.
