YES!: Pmdd (premenstrual dysphoric disorder) is a depressive-like illness commonly brought on by the hormonal changes from the ovaries just before a period. These same hormone changes alter gut movement, and can cause bloating, belching, heartburn, and fullness. These can also be the signs of gallbladder disease, ulcers, or other GI problems. See your doctor if they persist beyond premenstual time.
