A few days: Ovulation discharge occurs due to the egg's secretion of estrogen, which makes the cervical discharge more clear and watery. This type of discharge makes it easy for sperm to get through. Once your egg has been released and after it's too late to be fertilized, the discharge changes and so the clear watery discharge during ovulation only lasts a few days (3-5 days) during the fertile window.
